An invitation for visionary Humanitarians
Once upon a time, not so long ago…
last November in fact
last November in fact
Conventional humanitarian responses were failing
It was time for collective action:
The People’s Convoy was born to crowdfund for the first ever hospital !!!
The People's Convoy launches on Channel 4 news with Jon Snow |
To show how much people care...
...we drove the hospital equipment all the way across
Europe to the Syrian border and handed it to our local
partner IDA - Independent Doctors Association
The BBC round-up with People's Convoy video diaries |
Local humanitarians were so
moved by this incredible
demonstration of humanity,
solidarity and support - they
called it - Hope Hospital. A
hospital that would benefit
over 55,000 children in
Aleppo area.
The first humanitarian crowdfunding
and crowdsourcing platform
and crowdsourcing platform
✓ We are one of the first to leverage technology,
crowdfunding and crowdsourcing platform in the humanitarian sector, especially relating to war zones
✓ We are the first humanitarian rewards-based platform connecting people to people
✓ We are the first to channel resources wholly to local humanitarians to save more lives in their war-affected communities. (Remember, they receive less than 1% of global funding)
✓ We have effectively mobilised a global community for people-led humanitarian action and we will continue to do so
✓ We are the first to fully focus on war-devastated communities, extremely challenging environments most have deemed impossible to work in
Focus: health-related including medical, nutritional, clean water, hygiene, sanitation, psycho-social support, mental health and protection.
Our CanDo Model
Meaningful humanitarian response
CanDo Mindset
What we do
The services we provide:
✓ Resource local humanitarians: We channel resources where they have the biggest impact: on the frontline in local hands.
✓ Skills transfer, capacity building: We provide support and tools in fundraising,
communications, human-centered design and project implementation training to ensure success for local humanitarian organisations.
✓ Impact monitoring & reporting: We use data-analytics to inform local humanitarian partners and community members on their personalised impact, and assess the impact of our own localisation model for constant improvements.
✓ Due diligence: We assess & vet local humanitarian organisations before they can become partners and launch campaigns on our crowdsourcing platform, ensuring transparency and accountability for all.
Everyone a humanitarian
• Our solution is about the dignity of independence, helping people help themselves and others. We are daring to do what no one else is doing - devolve power and act as catalysts.
• We are creating a new international aid ecosystem that recognises, respects and empowers local humanitarians.
• We will act as a bridge between communities, believing in our shared humanity and shared responsibility for collective problem-solving.
• We are ensuring openness, transparency and accountability, for all by directly linking the CanDo community with the affected communities and the deliverers of aid.

Our value to Donor Community
Our donors can:
• Contribute directly to the heart of the problem with agency of choice
• Know their own personal Impact
• Know exactly where their money is going and to whom in real time
• Be part of a strong network of CanDo humanitarians, of thinkers and doers
Our value to Local Humanitarians
• Gain access to essential funding and human resources from the CanDo global community
• Showcase their courageous and life-saving work on a global platform, where they will be able to tell their stories, in their own voices, in a dignified and independent manner
• Grow their support base by being connected to a global, mainly western audience they currently find very difficult to reach
• Build skills in fundraising, communications, human-centered design and project implementation.
